Alderman Fioretti has established a working group that is open to the Board Presidents of all resident associations located in the 2nd Ward. This group focuses its concerns on community issues relating to new development, traffic, parking and safety within the ward. The Alderman also sponsors presentations to this group to assist the Boards in handling their responsibilities, and facilitates information sharing and strategy making on turnover and building defect, repair and maintenance issues. Finally, this group serves as a sounding board for consultation on the Alderman’s sponsorship of ordinances and other legislation on association and development issues.
